Motley Crew CrossFit is an origin story for Josh; it is a place where he discovered his love for, not only CrossFit — the challenging and character-building sport of weightlifting and gymnastics — itself, but also his love for the artistry that is story-driven content creation.
Every year there is a call to creative freedom that involves getting athletes from all over the world to sign up for the CrossFit Open; a global competition open to everyone who belongs to a CrossFit affiliate gym. In 2023, I produced an ad for Motley Crew CrossFit in Cape Town, South Africa. The ad got over 375K views on CrossFit Games’ Instagram page.
